Highlights of GLOBSEC 2014: A Snapshot

With more than 800 guests from 65 countries, travelling to Bratislava from places as far away as Washington, D.C., Moscow, or Wellington – GLOBSEC 2014 was the largest to date.



On July 16-18, the Slovak Atlantic Commission will host the 2014 Visegrád School of Political Studies, a joint project of the Council of Europe and the
Strategy Council and the Slovak Atlantic Commission representatives participated at the Tbilisi Transformational Leadership Forum (TTLF) on June 2 – 4, 2014 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Martin Bútora, a member of the International Board of the Slovak Atlantic Commission and the Strategy Council and Honorary President of the Institute for Public Affairs, has become a member of the group of policy experts appointed by NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen that will prepare proposals to reaffirm and strengthen the Trans-Atlantic Bond.

    The Slovak Atlantic Commission (SAC), in cooperation with the Central European Policy Institute (CEPI), has commissioned a comprehensive survey about the perceptions of Moldovans towards the European Union (EU), the Eastern Partnership (EaP) and the Russia-led Eurasian Customs Union (ECU) in the context of value orientations.
