On March 2 – 4, 2011, Bratislava will again become the meeting point of security and foreign policy experts from the both sides of the Atlantic, who will gather to shape the transatlantic strategic debate and policies. GLOBSEC Bratislava Global Security Forum will host renowned governmental, nongovernmental and corporate leaders, think-tankers, opinion builders and journalists to discuss the most pressing issues of the present times.
During the five years, the GLOBSEC Forum has become a platform with solid reputation and ranks among the major European foreign policy and security conferences today. Since the beginning of its existence, GLOBSEC has been a forum to increase the voice of Central Europe in the international community and to shape the transatlantic agenda from the regional perspective.
During three days, GLOBSEC 2011 will be attended by number of security advisors, decision-makers, ambassadors, members of national parliaments, representatives of ministries of defence and foreign affairs, members of the academic sphere and media and other key foreign and security policy stakeholders. Four night owl sessions and seven highly interesting panels, several keynote speeches and many networking side events, receptions and focused lunch discussions will encompass the most important topics and give the participants an opportunity to discuss solutions to key transatlantic and global security challenges emerging in the world.
Each panel will be led by an experienced moderator in an interactive and dynamic way as a television debate. The four night owl sessions will be held in a more informal setting of a hotel cafeteria. Apart from the official program, the GLOBSEC Security Forum creates unique possibility for networking, contact-building and discussion for participants in an informal ambience during coffee breaks, lunch and reception.
