The Slovak Atlantic Commission has launched new interactive forms of communication with the security community at home and abroad. Via the Facebook social network and YouTube video website has everyone, who is interested in national and international security, access to information “from our kitchen”.
Information about the key projects of Slovak Atlantic Commission can be found on Facebook in the Slovak Atlantic Commission, Euro-Atlantic Quarterly and GLOBSEC groups. Its members have a possibility to discuss the activities of our organization and to communicate directly with people, who are involved in organizing the events. Some information is spread also by our member groups, thereby thousands of people can share it with us.
With the aim to offer unique sight on security discussions which we have organised for years, we have started up our own video channel on the YouTube webpage. The SACSlovakia channel contains the archive of videos from all of our events, including the GLOBSEC conferences or NCBC, which ranks undoubtedly among the most prestigious security events in the Central European region. Each video contains a short description and it is really easy to look all of them up. Of course, there is a possibility to comment or share the video channel, too.
Within the framework of our intention to communicate interactively, the Slovak public will soon have a possibility of gaining actual information about security topics thanks to the new version of the www.eaq.sk webpage, or by watching our events live at www.eaq.sk and www.ata-sac.org.
