As well as the GLOBSEC 2010 conference, GLOBSEC 2011 Bratislava Global Security Forum will  be held under the auspices of the current Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, H. E. Mr. Mikuláš Dzurinda.

In 2005 and 2006 the aegis over GLOBSEC was taken by H. E. Mr. Eduard Kukan, in 2007/2008 under the aegis of H. E. Mr. Ján Kubiš and in 2009, the auspices were provided by H. E. Mr. Miroslav Lajčák. Personal active engagement of ministers during the preparation of the conference has always been a guarantee of high level of quality of this event. GLOBSEC enjoys significant attention and personal attendance not only of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, but also of the Minister of Defence and State Secretaries of both Ministries.
