LOGISTIC INFORMATION
GLOBSEC Bratislava Global Security Forum has become the leading annual platform that has acquired a stable position in the calendar of major European conferences. GLOBSEC Forum 2011 represents an excellent opportunity of the news coverage for the media. During the event, the Slovak Atlantic Commission will be providing comprehensive media service.
MEDIA SERVICE OF THE SLOVAK ATLANTIC COMMISSION
- Arranging interviews
In order to provide media with ample opportunities and maximum comfort, the Slovak Atlantic Commission is realizing central planning of the interviews with all speakers according to the preferences. Interested journalists should forward their requests to the Public Relations Department of the Slovak Atlantic Commission (Jana Chocholová, e-mail: jana.chocholova@ata-sac,org) no later than February 25, 2011.
- SAC commentaries
Throughout the entire Forum, commentators of the Slovak Atlantic Commission Amb. Rastislav Káčer, Tomáš Valášek and Róbert Vass will be available for the purposes of media briefings and interviews as well. Our commentators will publish summaries evaluating the forum and its results during and also after the event.
- Media centre at the conference venue
For the convenience of journalists, the Forum venue Kempinski ***** Hotel River Park Bratislava will provide press centre equipped with computers with Internet access, Wi-Fi. All forum outputs in
electronic and paper format will be available in these premises.
- Photographs and video-archive
A comprehensive photo archive will be available for journalists on the spot. These outputs will be updated after each panel and distributed via portable hard drives during the event. The Slovak Atlantic Commission allows free use of these materials by media. At the same time, photographs and press releases will be continuously updated on the www.globsec.org website. Within few days after the GLOBSEC Bratislava Global Security Forum, video-archive and other outputs will be published on this website.
- Live broadcast via the Internet
GLOBSEC 2011 will be broadcasted live on the www.globsec.org website. The transmission will start on March 3, 2011 at 9:00 AM CET (8:00 AM London, 3:00 AM Washington, D. C.) and on March 4, 2011 at 9:00 AM CET (8:00 AM London, 3:00 AM Washington, D. C.).
- Press Releases from the Slovak Atlantic Commission
The Slovak Atlantic Commission will publish forum-related press releases that will be distributed directly on the e-mail addresses of respective journalists and published by SITA press agency as well as on the www.globsec.org website.
