Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic on Energy Security, Bratislava

Born in 1970 in Kosice. He graduated in the field of mining, transport and storage of oil and gas at the Moscow Institute Neft, Gaza and the Mining Faculty of the Technical University in Kosice. Already during his studies he began to work with a branch of the Czech news agency (CTK) in Slovakia. From 1993-1995 he worked as a reporter for CTK in Kosice. In the first half of the 90-ies he regularly cooperated with the Slovak editorial staff of Radio Free Europe. From 1998 to 2003 as a reporter for the economic weekly Trend he focused mainly on issues related to energy, general government finance and corporate business issues. In recent years, he wrote mainly to the theme of energy security. He is the author or coauthor of numerous publications (oil and gas factor in Russian domestic and foreign policy, Russia at the end of the Yeltsin era, Central Europe and Russian pipelines). He worked in several managerial positions.
