Walter B. Massenburg joined BAE Systems in August, 2007 as Vice President for Readiness and Sustainment in the Electronics, Intelligence and Support Operating Group. He is responsible for creating the model, building the logistics functionality, and allowing the creation of new business opportunities for robust “through life” care of integrated systems and electronics products. He retired from the Navy after a successful 38 year career on April 1, 2007. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Mr. Massenburg received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Washington and Jefferson College. He holds Master’s degrees in Systems Management from University of Southern California and National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island. Mr. Massenburg was inducted into the Baltimore City College High School Hall of Fame in 2002. He received the Society of Logistics Engineer’s Founder’s Medal in 2004, and the Washington and Jefferson College Alumni Achievement Award in 2005.
